The bottom side Leganes of la Liga have appealed to their own game from Levante to be sought after the Video Assistant Referee system collapsed.
Leganes think they wrongly conceded a first-half penalty from Dimitris Siovas on Roger Marti that appeared to occur away from the region for a foul.
But, referee Munuera Monteros communicating gear collapsed, forcing the fourth to pass on the VAR choice via phone.
Levante went on to win the game 2-1.
Leganes president Victoria Pavon said the club would request the match be replayed in the 44th minute, when the incident took place.
Quite serious things have happened in this match – such as calling a punishment against us which was a foul away from the area, said Pavon.
It also occurred in the game against Valencia a few weeks before, but also to that the VAR system was not working properly so we feel we have not been able to compete in equal conditions.
